Reading a tyre label
- Rolling resistance (A to G) – a measure of fuel efficiency; A is the best performing and G the lowest
- Wet grip (A to G) – higher ratings mean shorter wet braking distances
- Noise (67 to 79 dB) – one black wave is the quietest, three waves the loudest
- Variant tyres are rated C for fuel efficiency and wet conditions, with a medium sound rating
